These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the software applications and website ("the Apps" / "the Service") provided by NexL Solutions, the trading name of Girish S (sole proprietor), Chaithram, Iravan, Pathanamthitta, Kerala — 689691, India ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, accessing or using any NexL Solutions app or this website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Apps are professional tools intended solely for use by qualified, licensed healthcare professionals in the course of their practice. They are not intended for use by patients or members of the general public for self-diagnosis or self-treatment. You confirm that you are a licensed clinician (or acting under the supervision of one) and that you will use the Apps in accordance with the laws and professional standards applicable to your practice.
Subject to these Terms and to payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Apps for your own clinical practice. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, rent, reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Apps, nor remove any proprietary notices. The licence is for your clinic / practice and may not be shared with unrelated third parties.
Depending on the app, NexL Solutions offers either a one-time licence or an annual plan. Current pricing and plan details are described on our Pricing & Plans page, or are available on request. Where an app is sold through the Google Play Store, payment is processed by Google Play Billing under Google Play's terms, and Google, not NexL Solutions, handles your payment details. All fees are stated in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified and are inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at the point of sale.
Cancellation and refund arrangements are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
The Apps are clinical decision-support tools. They provide information, scores, checklists and suggestions based on published clinical guidelines, but they do not practise medicine, make diagnoses, or provide medical advice. All clinical decisions — including diagnosis, investigation, prescribing and treatment — remain the sole responsibility of the treating clinician, who must apply their own professional judgement and correlate with the individual patient. NexL Solutions accepts no responsibility for clinical decisions made using the Apps.
The Apps are offline-first and store the information you enter locally on your own device. You are the data controller / data fiduciary for any patient information you record and are responsible for complying with applicable data-protection and medical-records law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023). All rights, title and interest in the Apps, the website, and the NexL name and logo belong to NexL Solutions. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you; you receive only the limited licence described above.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NexL Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any clinical outcome, arising from use of or reliance on the Apps. Our total aggregate liability in connection with the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant app in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You may stop using the Apps at any time. We may suspend or terminate your licence if you materially breach these Terms. On termination, the licence ends and you must stop using the Apps; data stored locally on your device remains under your control.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at this address with the effective date shown above. Continued use of the Apps after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any applicable consumer-protection rights, the courts at Pathanamthitta, Kerala shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
