HeadacheIQ ("the App") is a clinical decision-support application for licensed healthcare professionals, published by NexL Solutions. For any privacy question, contact nexlsolutions2026@gmail.com.
HeadacheIQ is designed to work fully offline. Information you enter — patient demographics, contact details, clinical findings, questionnaire scores, assessments, diagnoses, prescriptions, reports and visit history — is stored only in the App's private storage on your own device. It is never uploaded, synchronised or transmitted to the developer or to any server. We have no access to it and cannot see, restore or delete it.
Nothing. The App contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking SDKs and no third-party software development kits, and it creates no user accounts. We do not collect personal data, usage data, location, contacts, device identifiers or clinical data for our own purposes.
Where the App lets you attach a photo, scan or document to a patient record, or generate a PDF report or prescription, those files are created only at your request and are stored in local storage on the device. They leave the device only if you yourself choose to share, print or export them (for example via WhatsApp, email or print). Once you share a file, safeguarding it is your responsibility.
If the App offers a paid licence or subscription on Google Play, payment is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. Your payment details are handled by Google and are never visible to the App or to NexL Solutions. Google's processing of payment data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. The App stores only a local record of whether a valid licence or subscription is active.
Two mechanisms can move data off the device, both fully under your control: (a) Android's system Auto Backup may include App data in your own device backup, subject to your Android backup settings; and (b) any in-app "export" or backup feature creates a file on your device that goes only where you choose to send it. You are responsible for storing backup and exported files securely, as they contain the clinical records you entered.
HeadacheIQ is a tool for clinicians. For any patient information you enter, you are the data controller / data fiduciary under the laws that apply to your practice (for example, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023). The App supports your obligations by keeping data on-device, but compliance with medical-records and data-protection law — and obtaining any consent required — remains your responsibility. NexL Solutions does not collect, receive or process this patient data.
Data remains on your device until you delete it. Deleting a record in the App, clearing the App's storage, or uninstalling the App permanently removes the data from the device. Because we hold no copies, we cannot recover it — and there is nothing for us to delete on any server.
App data is stored within the App's private storage area, protected by Android's application sandbox. We recommend you additionally protect the device with a screen lock and keep regular, securely-stored backups.
The App is a professional tool intended for qualified healthcare providers and is not directed at children. Clinicians may record paediatric patient data as part of lawful clinical care.
HeadacheIQ is a clinical decision-support aid based on the International Classification of Headache Disorders (ICHD-3). It does not replace professional medical judgement; diagnostic and treatment decisions remain the sole responsibility of the treating clinician.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this address, with the effective date shown above. If the App's data practices ever change (for example, if an optional cloud feature is added), this policy will be updated and the effective date revised before that change takes effect.
